[Bucky looks entirely unimpressed (which, honestly, is a pretty common expression for him).]

Anyone else wake up in a place they didn't go to sleep?

[A beat.]

Again I mean. Arriving here in the first place doesn't count.

Like... maybe for ten minutes. Is that okay? [She doesn't want to be a burden, but Kamala is majorly freaked out.]

[sinistral]

‘Course it is. You’d do it for me.

[He’s not sure why he’s so sure that she would, but it’s the impression he’d gotten from meeting her. And really, it’s no burden.]

I’m going to go stand outside this cabin. Go to your window and tell me if you see me, okay?

[morphogenia]

Yeah... I actually would. Hang on. [If Kamala pauses there it's only because she's been read so accurately. She heads to her window and surprise surprise: he's pretty easy to spot. Kamala doesn't waste any time running out her cabin to reach him.]

Brooklyn! Hey!

[sinistral]

[Ways to be easily recognizable: be the only one standing outside a cabin. Also, have a metal arm. But there's a good side, Bucky supposes: at least two of them were transported to this ring of cabins. He wonders if anyone else was.]

Hey Jersey.

[He'll meet her part of the way, a few steps from the cabin's front door. And it's probably clear that he's looking her over for any signs of injury or any other visible distress.]

Feel a little better now?

[morphogenia]

[Kamala's expression softens as she registers what he's doing. What a sweet man. She wishes she had any idea what was going on so she can return the favor.] Yeah... I just needed someone I knew. I'm okay by the way. Nothing mauled me or anything since I got here. Are you okay, Brooklyn?

[sinistral]

[Bucky's not at all sure that he's the person who should be deserving looks like that, but the uncomfortable thought is shoved away. She knows what he is and if she's comfortable with that, then who is he to stop her?] I don't mind. And I'm really glad you're un-mauled.

[He shrugs.] Physically? Yes. Figuring out why we were moved though, that's what's got me confused.

[morphogenia]

[Kamala frowns thoughtfully. She does have an idea even if it's half-baked.] It seems like a magic thing. Someone wants us together, I think.

[sinistral]

[Even half-baked ideas are valid at this point!] It might sound strange, but I wouldn't rule that out at this point. I mean, I can't think of many things that would have been able to move a number of us that sort of distance without our noticing.

[morphogenia]

[She nods sagely. How to dance around the fact no one wipe her memory or drug her unless she's basically at zero percent energy. That definitely takes a lot of effort considering she can be shot and walk away fine in like two minutes tops.] My thoughts exactly! I don't think drugs would be effective on all of us either.

[Kamala huffs.] Ugh! I wish that hipster viking were around. He knows all about magic stuff.

[sinistral]

[She might be dancing around it, but Bucky doesn't really notice. After all if she knows who he is, she probably knows at least a little about his metabolism and that's enough to infer that it'd be difficult to drug him.] I'd have to agree.

[The next statement gets a sideeye though. He's not sure who she's talking about but even so, wishing for someone to be with them might be a mixed blessing.] I think this is where I have to be the responsible adult and say be careful what you wish for.

[morphogenia]

[Kamala nods even while visibly sulking a little about it.] Yeah, I get it. We're stuck in a bad situation so no inviting people to get stuck with us.

[sinistral]

Unless...? [He'll let that sentence hang for a moment before nudging her with an elbow.] Unless they're bringing us ice cream.

[That's an appropriately silly and tension-breaking request, right?]
