I guess if there's ever a good time to be whisked away to another world, it's when you're asleep.

I suppose. But I would have preferred everyone else I was with to come with me.

[Tsume could have done with being pulled out of a dying world to one that was nice, clean, and had an abundance of wildlife to hunt if only his pack had come with him.]

That makes sense. I think that any situation, no matter how rough or weird, can be made better if you just have some friends around.

Or maybe you can use this opportunity to make some new friends, too.

I don't do well making friends.

[Not with humans anyway. He just wasn't like them and it was hard to connect. Even with his fellow wolves he'd tried everything wolfily possible to make them fuck off before he finally gave up and just allowed himself to get close.]

[loadme]

I can understand that. Everyone's different, after all.

[Some people just had an easier time talking than others. Nothing wrong with that!]

If you want, I could be your friend!

[That produces a long pause from Tsume. He's always hesitant to get close to humans. They have a way of disappointing him.]

[No last name attached, but then, it's not so odd when she only gave a first name as well.]

[He's not very good at small talk. Well, he might as well try.]

Where are you right now?

Well... there's a lot of trees around! A pretty dense forest, I'd say. And swamps, too!

Sorry, that's not very helpful, is it?

[Well, it's enough to go on that Tsume will likely be able to place where she is with a little more information. He's been exploring most of the island with the time he has on his paws.]

Are you nearby the lake?

Oh, I know the lake.

It's kind of hard to miss, huh?

It seems to be the very center of this island.

[It seems like everyone was finding their way there eventually.]

Makes you wonder if there's anything special to it, huh.

Seems likely. Why else would there be a castle in the middle of the lake?

Who really knows, huh? Maybe it's there to just throw us off.

Maybe there's nothing special about it at all.
