Day 4 || Shard 001
[Keith stares at the mirror shard for a while, his eyebrow raising.]
... Is this-- [Oh. It is. It... does seem to be working. Or well, at least, he isn't seeing his reflection anymore. Then again, he isn't all that sure of what he is seeing, either.
Ah well. Here goes nothing.]
...
[................. 'Hi?' 'Hello?' ... That sounds so stupid. What-- What's he supposed to say? How should he even start this...?
...]
I--... Uh. [Clears throat slightly.] ... My name is Keith. And... I'm a paladin of Voltron. [Awkward pause. He lifts his eyes up from the mirror, for a moment, and seems to communicate with someone through facial expressions alone before returning his attention back to the mirror again.
He frowns.]
... No one we've talked to so far seems to have any idea of where we are or how we ended up here. Is it the same for all of you? Any information you might have could help us figure out how to get out of here.
[He pauses again, before--]
If any of the other paladins are listening: Guys, come in. All you have to do is look at the mirror and-- uh. Speak. ... I guess. While thinking about... wanting to speak. [... wow. Smooth.] Just. You know. Look at the surface, think that you want to talk to people, talk. Figure it out. But do it. I'm with Lance, but we don't think the Red or the Black lions are anywhere around here. It's been four days and we haven't heard or seen any of you or anyone else that was with us. So if you are here, say something.

action;
He's just stuffing the rolled up blanket under the flap of his backpack, securing it in place. ] All good! But thanks. You okay? [ With his back and all.
But he pulls one strap of his backpack through one of the arm holes in his chest plate, which isn't super comfortable, but it works. There's still buckets and such to carry after all. He picks up the half empty one now that his backpack is in place. Last glance back. He's ready to go, did they miss anything? ]
action;
Precisely because they have no idea where they are, a roof over their head is better than nothing at all. At least it will give them some protection, from the ailments, if from nothing else.
That is, until it tries to kill them while they sleep. Maybe.Keith watches as Lance takes care of that and turns, to grab the towel from the table, too. Lance used it for the cloth, earlier, so maybe they can use the rest for the same purpose, if it's ever needed. He drops the towel over his shoulder, gets the bucket around his elbow and takes a hold of his own chest-plate. His dagger is on his bag and the axe on his other hand.] Yeah, I'm fine. [Or as fine as possible given the circumstances, really. Could be worse. (Could always be worse.)] Lets just get out of here.
action;
[ Which-- just. Aggravated sigh goes here. But they need a place to sleep. One that won't get rained on. One they can keep warm.
Lance nods at Keith's reply, gives the place another quick once-over. ] Yeah, let's move.
[ And out they go. ]
